Your 2 Years Old

Dear Dax, 

Well my sweet boy, you turned 2 on Sept 2... Crazy! It seems like you've been around forever and your the size of a 4 year old, but to actually say your 2, is just crazy! 

You are growing so dang fast! And you're cheeky as ever, terrible 2's hit the second the clock hit 7:43am and you will definitely give me a run for my money!

Mom is so proud of the fiesty little man you have become! We couldn't have asked for a sweeter little guy! You're an amazing big brother to Carter and a cheeky little brother to Cadence!

Updates on life

Dear Dax,

Well my big boy, your growing too fast! You now weigh 32.9 lbs and your damn near as tall as Sissy. You run like the wind, ride your little bike, love to chase the chickens, but your holding out on the talking. 

Recently you decided to get into the antihistamines and you too about 15. We had to rush you to the hospital and they stuck a tube down your throat and put charcoal in your tummy. It was a horrible experience, but thankfully you were just fine. 

We also just got back from our first big family holiday. We went to Cranbrook and camped by the Wild Horse River for a week and then to Kookanusa Lake for the weekend. You had tons of fun and got good and dirty the entire time. 

You also just got some glasses about a month ago and your so good at keeping them on. However you decided to ride your bike down the stairs and face planted, of course your glasses got good and scratched. 

You are such a great big brother and try to help with Carter, every chance you get. He's a lucky boy to have a big bro like you. We love you Dax Man and are so proud of the rough and tough little guy you have become.

1 Year Old

Dear Daxton, 

Well my little man, on Sept 2 you turned a year old (this is a little late)! It's hard to believe your already a year old! 

I just weighed you the other day and your already 30lbs! You walk, run, climb on everything, babble, do a lot of screeching and so much more! 

Teething has been a difficult thing for you and you must have at least 13-14 teeth already. I don't dare put my finger in your mouth to count your teeth, you will bite it off. 

You recently had your first and second sleep over at Meme's and you were such a good boy! As long as sissy is with you, your happy. 

We love you so much mister! You keep Mommy on her toes and keep the days interesting to say the least.

Dear Daxton,

Well my boy, mommy has been so busy and has not taken the time to write to you! Sorry my sweet little man! So here are some updates...

You now have 4 teeth, the two bottoms are completely out and the two tops are poking through. It was a rough go with the bottom two, but the tops seem to be a bit less painful for you.

You are crawling all over the house, nothing is safe from your reach. I cannot believe how fast you can go from one side of the house to the other! And since learning to crawl, you have starting standing along the furniture and will be walking in no time. Such a big boy!

Last time I weighed you, you were 23.6 lbs at 9 months old! You are mom's little tank ;) and you love to eat anything! Hotdogs, fruit, pizza, veggies, bread. You really will eat anything we put in front of you!

Mommy loves to watch you and sissy play! The two of you love eachother so much and you light up the second she walks into the room. You are a lucky boy to have such a great big sister.

Daddy has been staying home with you guys while Mommy is at work and you and sissy seem to love it. You guys hang out in the garage, help dad cut the grass (you love going on the ride on lawnmower), and go for quad rides.

We love you so much Daxton James! You truly are the sweetest boy!

Just over a week ago you had a doctors appointment and weighed in at 14 lbs 7 oz. You are growing like a weed. Dr Hylck said you are in the 75 percentile for your height, weight and head size.

Your smiling up a storm these days! I will leave you with a picture I took last night. I love you'd ax man.

Dear Daxton,

Well my boy so much has happened since I last wrote to you, and soon I will tell you about all that! But for now.... You cut your first too teeth last night! When mom went to work in the morning there was nothing, but by 7pm the two bottom ones were starting to come through.
